Sun hummed happily, watching Moon make a gorgeous flower out of crepe paper. Moon made it a pretty rainbow flower, bigger than Cadence's head and certainly having some heft.
"Do you think she'll like it?" Sun whispered gleefully.
"Of course she will," Moon said confidently, "You know how she loves when I send her some of the crafts I make."
Sun sighed happily, stretching out on the bed. "Yeah, if only she could visit..."
Moon chuckled, shaking his head. "Not with Cadence around. You know how she gets when she thinks we got ourselves a girlfriend."
Sun pouted as he said, "Yeah... Too bad we aren't..." He perked up, looking at his brother as he said, "Could we ask? Be promoted?"
Moon rolled his eyes, gently fluffing the flowers as he said, "Maybe wait a bit. You know how mom gets when we introduce a girl. Especially when we say the girl is just a friend."
"We are friends right now... But do you think we could ever be more?" Sun asked, looking at his brother.
"You called her Vere'ska a few months ago, you are one cocky bastard," Moon chuckled.
"It was a slip of the tongue!" Sun exclaimed.
"That wasn't the only thing your tongue slipped," Moon said mischievously, and Sun gaped at Moon before grinning widely.
"Oh, I see. Growing cocky yourself?" Sun teased, and Moon scoffed, rolling his eyes, but his face tinged with his light blue blush ever so slightly. "How about you go and do the same thing? I dare you, I double dare you. Go kiss Cadence like I did," Sun said eagerly, perking up.
"Sun, I am not doing a dare," Moon replied, rolling his eyes.
"I triple dog dare you! Quadruple dare you!" Sun said, his energy increasing as he sat up.
"Sun, I am not doing it. There is no way she would let me," Moon said, crossing his arms and turning his head away. His face turned a brighter shade of blue as his blush deepened.
"Quintuple trouble dare you!" Sun exclaimed loudly.
"Fine!" Moon said, throwing his hands in the air, "Fucking fine, you needy little bastard!" Moon got up and stomped out, Sun following with an excited giggle.
They made their way to the human's room, Sun bouncing on his feet when Moon knocked.
The door opened, and there stood Cadence, wearing her usual black shirt and shorts as she leaned against the doorframe. "Yeah?" She asked, her head tilting.
"You're fucking dead," Moon growled at Sun before looking at Cadence, and he picked her up, spinning her in the air before dipping her, kissing her gently on the mouth. She looked surprised, freezing as Moon's hands held her up. After a moment, he set her down again, gently.
While she looked stunned, Moon lunged at Sun, who ran away with a giggle. "Get back here!" Moon yelled, chasing Sun all the way back to their room.
Moon eventually got Sun, tackling him to the ground in their living room. Moon glared at Sun, grabbing the collar of his shirt as he hissed, "You fucking bastard-"
Sun cut him off, "Didn't count. I didn't see any tongue."
Moon groaned loudly, his nightcap-like appendage flopping forward to cover his bright blue face as he exclaimed, "SHUT UP!"
Sun merely giggled in reply.
