Chapter 56: Interesting Happenings

Eclipse was reading quietly in his room, currently reviewing his knowledge of human mental illnesses as he lay in nothing but his favorite pair of bright red boxers with black hearts all over them. He was just reading up on autism when he heard a knock at his door.

"Yes?" Eclipse called, not looking up from his book.

The door opened then closed quietly, and he could instantly tell by the soft footsteps and slight scent that it was Cadence. "Hello," he murmured, turning the page and looking up when he felt the bed dip slightly. He quirked a brow as Cadence crawled between his legs, slowly lowering herself and not meeting his gaze.

Eclipse tilted his head as he asked playfully, "What ever are you doing?"

Cadence paused, slowly lowering her head so her chin rested at his waistband, and she was silent as she avoided looking at him, face bright red.

She let out a soft 'myr' sound akin to a cat, ever so slowly tilting her face downwards and lightly pressing her nose against his crotch.

Now Eclipse was surprised, as she had never made an advance before, and the fact that she was doing so now was a bit of a shock.

"Does someone want something?" He teased, relaxed and letting her be in control, as he could tell the slightest provocation would send her skittering away like the frightened prey animal she commonly acted like whenever she tried returning his affections.

Cadence slowly opened her mouth before lightly resting it on his crotch, eyes squeezed shut as she looked anxious and embarrassed.

Eclipse held back a snicker, trying to rein in his body's reaction to her actions so as to not startle her. Alas, he just found her acting too cute to not get a little aroused, and his cocks stirred slightly, one inching out from its slit, and he saw her shoulders twitch when the appendage lightly pressed back.

Eclipse was certainly surprised by this new development, but certainly not in a bad way. She was so confident in many other areas, yet when it came to intimacy, she almost acted like she was doing everything wrong.

Eclipse hummed, lower pair of eyes returning to his book as his upper eyes stared at her, idly flicking through the pages and attempting to remember where he had read about humans acting like they think they're doing everything wrong and are almost expecting some sort of punishment.

"Such a good girl," he murmured softly, smirking when she tilted her face more into his crotch and whined in embarrassment. "So brave, you're doing so well for your first real attempt at making a move. What ever could have brought this on, I wonder? Or are you too embarrassed to give answers right now?" Eclipse continued, smiling when his only answer was a huff and nuzzle to his crotch.

She whined softly, peeking up at him but hiding her face again when she saw he was looking at her. She huffed before whining again, sitting up and darting out of the room, face a bright red.

Eclipse chuckled at her behavior, returning to his book as he found what he had been looking for. A fear of always doing something wrong or incorrectly and expecting punishment at any moment is a sign of childhood trauma, especially abusive parents.

Eclipse sighed and put his book down, thinking for a moment before deciding he would do his best to encourage her previous behavior. As well as attempt to do more communication on their relationship tomorrow, as she was quite flighty when it came to mentions of intimacy.
