Cadence hummed softly under her breath, eyes lidded as she was slumped in her chair at her desk. Currently, she was working on building a little cat-matronic. It sounded like an animatronic cat, but no, she literally got a commission from a Matronic family asking if she could construct them a baby
Sure, her main job was bounty hunting, but she did know engineering as well. Though most of the commissions she received were baby requests from Matronic families.
Her ears twitched as she heard her room door open, and she sniffed, getting a warm musky scent. Must be Sun.
She set the half-finished project down, feeling his presence right behind her.
"Hey Sun-" She started to say, but inhaled sharply when a pair of hands hooked under her shoulders and picked her up gently.
And then she found herself pinned to the wall, looking up into Eclipse's face, his eyes a bright pink and his pupils nowhere to be seen. His top set of eyes were closed while his lower set was wide and looking down at her.
His lower set of hands held her hips to the wall, his upper pair of arms holding her shoulders to the wall.
He grinned, fangs prominent as he growled lecherously, "Hiiii.... I've missed you soooo much, Cadence..." He leaned forward, setting a gentle peck on her nose before kissing both of her cheeks.
She looked surprised at his strange actions, eyebrows rising further as he started peppering gentle kisses down her neck, his form pressing against her.
"You leave for a few days to deal with a bounty and come back like you got some virus?" She asked in surprise, huffing slightly as his insistent head nudges tilted her head back and made her neck more exposed to his needy kisses.
"No, no virus," He purred between kisses, "Would never want to infect you and make you sick. The only sick I want you to be is sick with love."
She jolted slightly as she felt a wet appendage on either side of her neck. "Wha- You have two tongues???" She asked in surprise.
She didn't even know why she was surprised, he seemed to have two of everything; two sets of eyes, two sets of arms, two sets of frills...
"You taste so good," Eclipse purred, leaning back to look over her appreciatively. His lower set of eyes blinked slowly, his upper pair of eyes opening and looking mostly normal but tinged with a hint of that hot pink color. His pupils looked down, and Cadence followed his gaze to look at his lower right arm, a bite mark on his forearm with small brown spikes left in where there were teeth marks.
"You got bitten by a Lovebug?" She asked in surprise, looking at Eclipse's face, his upper pair of eyes already closed.
"Mmm, yesss, I did. Little bugger attacked me, jumping out of the bushes and bit me," Eclipse purred, his lower pair of hands sliding down her hips before sliding up the underside of her thighs, stopping just short of cupping her ass as he pressed her form against his.
"Well, we need to remove the teeth casings!" Cadence sputtered, eyes wide and face burning as she avoided looking at him. "The venom can take a very long time to wear off! It could take days for the venom to subside! Depending on the size of the Lovebug and the size of the person who was venomed..." Her voice trailed off, inhaling sharply as she felt his fangs brush against her neck.
"Mmm, I'm very big, darling~" He purred.
She huffed, keeping her head turned away. "The supplies are in the bathroom," She said softly.
"Supplies for...?" Eclipse asked teasingly, a smirk on his face.
"Extracting the teeth casings from your arm," She replied, and Eclipse hummed, kissing her neck before standing straight, still keeping her pressed against his form, his lower hands wrapping her legs around his waist.
Technically he wasn't standing straight because he was kneeling, but he couldn't stand straight up on his feet because he was too tall for the room. He made his way to the bathroom, entered it, and sat on the ground, crossing his legs.
"Where is it?" He purred, lower pair of hands rubbing up and down her back, deft fingers gently massaging the tense muscles in her back.
"I can get it myself," she said, but when she tried to get up, he pressed her form firmer against his.
"But better yet, I can get it for you," he purred, licking a stripe up her neck, "Wouldn't want you to have to do too much. You'll need your energy~"
She wheezed softly, eyes widening as she turned her head away. "First aid kit is in the cabinet under the sink," She replied, her voice high-pitched.
He reached over her, easily fetching said First aid kit. He hummed contentedly, keeping her straddling his hips as he held out the kit to her.
"Okay, I need to, like, get up so I can treat your arm," she said as she accepted the kit.
He hummed, grinning smugly, "Hmm, how about no~?"
She frowned, narrowing her eyes as she asked, "What if I seriously wanted to get up?"
"If you were serious about getting up, I would let you, of course," Eclipse replied, his grip on her loosening.
She merely hummed, grabbing his bitten arm and setting it across her lap, hunching over and looking concentrated as she had a pair of tweezers, Eclipse having pulled the small bathroom trash close.
He smirked at her, and as she used the small tweezers to remove the first tooth casing, he purred seductively into her ear, "Oh, enjoy sitting on my lap? You don't seem serious about getting off~"
She shrunk in on herself, her free hand going and pushing his head away. "How about you enjoy shutting the fuck up?" She muttered embarrassedly.
"Aw, but teasing you is so funnnn~" He purred, leaning forward and kissing her forehead.
She merely huffed in response, working on steadily removing all the tooth casings. It took a couple minutes - and a lot of flirty provocations from the poisoned Eclipse - to remove all the small casings.
"Alright, done," Cadence sighed, lightly startling when, as soon as she put the tweezers back into the First aid kit, Eclipse stood, still holding her close to him.
He carried her over to her bed, setting her down and looming over her, eyes lidded.
"You're so nice Cadence, so kind and compassionate~" He purred, his chest pressing against hers as his lower pair of hands gripped her thighs, "Caring enough to notice I was poisoned~ So clever~ Thank you for removing them Cadence, I don't think I could have done it myself. Not when all I can think of is you~" His hips twitched, and he buried his face in her neck.
Her eyes were wide, hands opening and closing, like when a cat makes biscuits. She breathed slowly, form frozen. She wasn't used to Eclipse being this direct and Horny on Main™️, and she was never really good at responding positively to advances without thinking she looked bad anyways...
"But how could you not notice immediately that the casings were left in? Why not remove them the second you notice them?" She asked, her hands curled to her chest as her brows were furrowed, "The venom doesn't act immediately, takes a few hours, how could you not notice?"
"Too busy with a spoiled brat of a princess," He purred, nuzzling her, "She refused to come along, so I had to carry her. I was too distracted by her struggles to notice the minimal pain left by the small bite left by the small creature."
"Ah," she said softly, not looking at him, "Well, I guess that makes sense. We likely have different pain tolerances. And your species likely has something different in your biology or something that would make it easier for you to like, not notice."
"Mmm, different biology sure is correct~" he purred, pressing himself against her more.
She growled in her throat, head sinking into her neck and giving her a double-chin as she narrowed her eyes at Eclipse.
She was silent for a moment before saying, "I sleep now." She tried to roll onto her stomach, but couldn't since Eclipse had her legs wrapped around his hips.
"Awww, so soon?" He cooed, his upper right hand gently grabbing her chin and turning her head towards him, "Alright then. Could I get a goodnight kiss?" He moved closer, purring, "A good kiss, not like that weak one you did to pass me that lemon thing."
She huffed, looking away as she said, "You still remember that? That kiss was not meant for pleasure or getting you heated, it was simply for revenge to give you that laxative. A means to an end."
Eclipse hummed, moving his head closer. "And this is a means to a beginning. Kiss? Kiss? Please?" His eyes were still glowing a hot pink color.
She rolled her eyes and nodded, moving her head closer. Eclipse grinned, pressing his lips against hers, his tongues brushing against her lips.
She felt like such an idiot for never noticing the very obvious fact that he had two tongues, she couldn't believe she had completely not noticed or glossed over the fact.
Eclipse's form quivered, laying on her more heavily as the kiss went on. Eventually, she had to break the kiss because she needed more air than she was getting in the kiss.
Eclipse pulled back with a content grin, watching Cadence's flustered expression. He rested his head on her chest and closed his eyes.
"I can't go to sleep wearing my bra," she said softly.
"Oh, but you were so ready to fall asleep minutes ago," He teased.
"It was a LIE," she huffed, turning her head away.
"It was an obvious lie," Eclipse replied with a smirk, lifting his head, "Need help getting it off?"
Her eyebrows raised, eyes widening.
Eclipse leaned in, murmuring into her ear, "If you aren't comfortable with it, then say so. Come on, you can do it. Say 'I am not comfortable with that request, I don't need help with that'."
Her eyes blinked rapidly, in confusion.
"Say it," Eclipse purred, "You can do it. Don't be shy~"
"This conversation took a turn," she said softly.
"You need to be more vocal with your feelings, likes, and dislikes," Eclipse purred, "Don't think I've noticed how quiet you are. Communication is important among partners."
Her eyes widened, head moving back slightly as she said softly, "This conversation REALLY took a turn."
"I'm not saying you should talk more, but using your words leaves less to be misunderstood," Eclipse continued, grinning.
"Oh, I see the venom is close to wearing off," Cadence sighed in relief, "You're acting drunk. The last vestiges of the venom are leaving your bloodstream."
"We should do trust exercises sometime," Eclipse said, nuzzling the side of her head, "Building trust is important in a relationship, especially to ensure good communication."
"Why do I get the feeling you become Saint Consent and Healthy Relationships when you are drunk?" Cadence said, narrowing her eyes.
"Because consent and healthy relationships are very important," Eclipse replied with a lecherous smile. He chuckled, kissing her cheek as he continued, "We haven't yet sat down and discussed boundaries, yet. We should do that soon. Do you have any trigger words or topics? Any spots you do not want to be touched? Are there things you do not want to be called? I'm asking the important questions here."
She blinked, staring at him blankly.
"This has got to be one of the weirdest conversations I can think of having with anyone in your family," Cadence remarked, "And I'm including the conversation when Sun asked me to be y'alls girlfriend."
"This conversation might be uncomfortable, but discussion of boundaries is important. You may be uncomfortable setting boundaries, but they are for your own comfort. It is better to experience a little discomfort to ensure your ensured comfort afterward than to not lay down boundaries and experience discomfort every day."
Cadence just listened to him speak, genuinely interested in what he had to say. His words started slurring, and she knew Eclipse was moments away from passing out as the last little itty bitty bits of venom would be flushed from his system.
"You should always feel safe to talk to us," Eclipse continued, his frills drooping as his eyes slowly closed, "We are always ready to listen, our auditory sensors are always willing to listen to you. You should also never feel pressured to reciprocate affection, only what you are comfortable with..." He started trailing off, mumbling more but she couldn't understand what the hell he was saying now.
She pursed her lips after a few minutes, still under him and still wearing her bra under her shirt. She resisted the urge to growl, and she grunted as she rolled them so he was lying on his back.
Sure, in this embarrassing position, she was straddling him, but at least she could sit up.
And she did sit up, arms twisting to reach behind her and undo the clasps under her shirt, keeping an eye on Eclipse. She slipped it off without having to remove her shirt, and she folded it in half before twisting around to look at her wardrobe, carefully aiming before tossing her bra.
It bounced and fell on the floor.
She sagged slightly, but shook her head, laying back down and rolling them back so she was being crushed again. She inhaled deeply, hearing small crackles from her spine before she resumed breathing like normally.
Who needs a blanket when you have a big alien man who doubles as a space heater or however that saying goes.
